Re: oil temp gauge?
I've never seen one on any bike. Why would you want an oil temp gauge? Personally I would want a coolant gauge first.
Re: oil temp gauge?
Yep, a coolant gauge would be better -- but am not sure how easily that could be attached. i was thinking that a temp gauge that simply screwed into the oil filler port would be expeditious -- i have one like that for my speedmaster and was just wondering if they might exist for the EN 500 C9F. But they probably don't. Thanks for your reply!

Re: oil temp gauge?
You could replace the temp switch in the t-stat housing with a temp sensor. I know the one from the 454LTD would fit. Hell you could probably just get a 454LTD t-stat housing off fleabay fairly cheap. Only problem is you'd have to do some digging or experimenting to find the resistance/temp curve of the sensor and a gauge that can work with that. Alternately you could tee one in to the lower radiator hose but I think that would be less useful since it's after the radiator. Not sure if there's room to put on in the upper radiator hose...
