Had My Surgury
So I had my surgery yesterday. They did a nerve block. Studies show they use less anesthesia and healing goes quicker. I don’t really remember getting the block. I was awake, but that part isn’t there. Then they wheeled me to OR. I remember sliding onto the table. Then I’m awake in recovery & talking to a nurse. They said the operation went better than expected. They had to make a large inscision to stretch the torn tendons back into place. Stitches and Staples will come out in a week. The nerve block wore off about 4am. I took a tramodol and was able to go back to sleep. The people were all nice, but I hope I never have to see them again! Now I have my arm in a sling with a nifty pillow. And a red rubber ball to squeeze. I will post updates as I heal.

Re: Had My Surgury
The nerve block wore off on my shoulder finally. I spent last night with a white hot knife stuck in my shoulder. And I can't take heavy pain meds. Lisa said one of the kittens kept jumping from her to me, but he's so light I didn't feel that.
