Anyone ever try to add color to white decals on a helmet?

Mods and upgrades that don’t fit any of the above topics such as, bars, seats, fenders, etc.

Anyone ever try to add color to white decals on a helmet?

I have a black helmet that I love and it came with white decals that cover most of it. I want to color them but don't want to touch the black or spray anything? any suggestions?
It's easier to ask for forgiveness than permission.
