removing aftermarket left handlebar grip?

Postby Triangles » Thu May 13, 2010 8:29 am

Any idea on how to remove the left hand aftermarket grip? I've never done anything with grips and I was thinking about replacing the Küryakyn knock off grips with actual Küryakyn grips. I have no idea how to get the things off. I hope they aren't glued on because that would really suck.

I'd say there's a pretty good possibility that they are glued on. If they are, you may have to cut the grips linearly and peel them off then sand off any glue residue. Utility knife will be your friend if you have to go this route.
