So i was looking to upgrade my bars to some style of z bars.Will any style riser work or do i need a certain style?

there are two holes for 10mm studs (3/8" if you're looking at English parts) As long as the studs are 10mm or 3/8" you should be good to go.

I vaguely remember reading somewhere that the spacing between the studs is less than most other bikes so that could be a concern if the bars you get are knurled at a certain distance apart.

I bought these specially made studs that are 10mm on the bottom half and 1/2" on the top portion.
I ordered them from scootworks since I didnt want to drill through my triple tree.

So if im reading this right as long as its 10 mm they will work?

yeah If you can find some with that size.
Usually there are more options available for risers with 1/2" threading
