Google would be your friend here. I believe I have the mini ISO wings I didn't know there were two different things. The standard Metric peg adapters are have a 12mm ID the pivot pin for our pegs are 8mm diameter. You will need to use some bushings to make things fit nice. You could probably use 1/2" OD x 3/8" ID bushings with a little sanding to make it fit.

I took a quick gander at Kuryakyn's website to refresh my memory. They are the same foot pegs. The difference is the foot peg attachment. Part 4450 has integrated (ie fixed) "standard" foot peg hole on them. That is what you don't want because you can't rotate the peg for the correct orientation. Part 4452 is what you want and you will have to order the correct peg adapters. There are none that fit our 8mm peg pivot pin. The adapter listed for the other Vulcans uses a 12mm OD pin so you need bushings to make them fit well on the 8mm foot peg pin.

Did you mount the iso wings parallel to the ground, or with the angle of the mount?

Sorry to keep asking questions. Did your spring fit the Kurakyn adapter for iso wings? Mine won't without some type of adjustment. Have a great Labor Day weekend.

I have the part 4452 wings. The peg adapters for these can be rotated to whatever angle you prefer. I have mine rotated slightly front up. Basically where my foot rides flat on them in my normal riding position. I believe I just reused my original springs no problem but, It's been so long I don't rememeber for sure. I'd go look at it and take pictures but I won't be home for a few weeks.

I had the mini iso-wings for a while and I think I was able to leave the springs out since the weight of the wings kept them in check.

Sorry I took so long to figure this out. I didn't remember where the springs I used came from. I had thought I simply reused the original springs then I remembered when I found my original springs last nite in the garage. I had bought some used foot pegs for my '94. the used foot pegs also came with springs which I ended up using for my Kyurakyn iso wings. So if you want springs that will work with no modification, go to your dealer and order the foot peg springs for a '90-'95 vulcan 500. If you want I'll take some pictures.

FYI use some blue loctite on the bolt that holds the iso wings to the foot peg adapters!!! I had one of mine fall off this moring. Thankfully it was at less than 20mph and not at high speed on the freeway which I had just gotten off of. I was able to safely pull over and retrieve the iso wing and bolt from the road.
