I think I have all the parts, except for the speedometer thing, but I already know where to click it from. So the project can begin soon. Will report as it progresses.

Great post! I like the looks of the spokes better, but they are a pain to keep clean compared to the older style, given the option at purchase time, I'd probably take the older wheels, but I doubt if I'll ever go to the trouble and expense of changing them out. If I do decide to change them, this post will be extremely helpful, thanks!

good looking wheels man. i bought a pair for mine off of ebay. i will be putting them on next winter. i would love to polish them, but i dont think i have the patience to do it. but looking at yours almost makes me want to try though. i also thought about getting them powder coated black, but i dont know yet.

Thanks Kawboy. Just have to tell I did not polish the wheels myself, sensei Fikret did it for me. He has the machinery and years of experience. Yes, I polished the rear brake drum cover and lever, but it would take me centuries to polish the wheels well with what I've got. I only wish I had all that time...
