Hey guys,
I'm working on my friends 93 en500. His flywheel magnets broke apart and tore up the innards of the case.
So I installed a new flywheel/magneto with the sealed magnets, new starter clutch, new stator and new starter relay.
I checked the crank before installation and it turned freely. I get it all back together, change the oil, and go to start it and it turns for a split second and clicks. After trying awhile to make it crank, I took the cover back off and removed everything from the crank. Turn it by hand and it turns in both directions halfway or maybe 1/3 turn and stops in either direction. Woodruff key is fine, and everything looks ok. Anyone else had this problem or know what direction I should take?
Thanks!
Crank only turns halfway

Re: Crank only turns halfway
Sounds like you have magnet chunks deeper in the engine that are preventing it from turning over.
