I read on another forum where some have replaced the stock (55/60W bulb) with a 90/140W bulb. Has anyone switched to a brighter bulb? Any issues? I don't like to ride mine at night since the lighting is so poor. The person on the other forum bought the headlight at Autozone and it is a Silvania Silverstar. They run about $15. Guess we have enough extra electrical supply to handle it.

Welcome FerdyRatTara.
I installed a 35W HID system from DDMtuning.com about eight years ago and it really lights up the night. Some have called it 'Flamethrower'.
Installation was quite tedious but in the end it has held up well.
Here's a link to it: https://www.ddmtuning.com/Products/HIDBIKESINGLEHILO

I also have a pair of 35W spotlights on a light bar beside the headlight and another pair of 10W LED lights mounted on the lower forks. All together they throw over 5,000 lumens down the road.
That said use power carefully. The alternator output is only 240 watts (17A) and it takes about 9A to keep the bike running.
