I just purchased an '09 Vulcan 500 LTD and was looking for highway bars and noticed this thread.

These messages are rather old but I just purchased a 2002 Vulcan 500 and am not having much luck finding some highway bars. The one sourced from Mexico look great but are these still to be had ? Any other options?

PM "500 rider" He is the one who gets these made. Let me know if he does not respond. I'll try to get a hold of him for you. Also in case you are wondering, I've seen him sell these here and on another forum. I have seen no reports of anyone unhappy dealing with him and nothing but praise for the product.

That would be great. They do look very nice. The shop I bought the bike from (it is going to ship on Monday) - put some bars on - but they basically don't really fit and they used u-bolts to force it (1. not sure how stable that set up really is, 2. it doesn't look clean either).

But if 500 rider is still selling the ones the gets from Mexico - I will ask the shop to take theirs off before they send the bike to Scottsdale.

I can't PM 500 rider (which is fine I am new member after all) - can you please reach out to him? It seems that he hasn't been on this forum since 2011?

I just PM'd 500 Rider, but I'm wondering if these are still sold for the A models.

500 rider hasn't responded to my emails and hasn't logged in since August 2011 so I think it's safe to say these custom highway bars likely aren't available anymore.
