Here are a few quick shots of my 2000 Vulcan 500 LTD. Acquired just over a week ago.

The bike was left out in the weather for an undetermined amount of time. The saddle bags are warped as a result. They're still usable, but not very pretty. My primary task, in addition to bringing maintenance up to date, will be corrosion control.

The windshield is a National Cycles Plexistar 2. It blocks too much breeze riding around town in hot weather, but it's great at highway speeds.

Nice looking bike Bill, I will keep an eye out for you when I'm passing through the Kennesaw area.

Nice looking ride to me. We should get these 500's out one day in the Marietta area.

Thanks for the comments. The photos don't show it clearly, but I have a lot superficial corrosion to deal with. Nothing that some steel wool and a tube of elbow grease won't solve.
