Re: Right side exhaust header
it might not look perfect, but you could always take it to an exhaust shop and have them weld it for you. you could take a dremel tool and clean the weld up afterward. if it was a small place, you might not even notice it much afterward. just a thought.

hey fastpackr, there is a right exhaust header on ebaymotors right now. they are selling it for $70. just type "vulcan 500 exhaust" in the search for ebaymotors, and it is about half down the page.

Re: Larger Gas Tank for EN500A
if you took your time, and had the tools, you could always adapt the bottom of your tank to the top of a custom tank. i would take some time, but it would work.

Re: Replacing the rear sprocket
well, i am not going to put you down. you did okay. about the whole bearing grease thing, they might not admit it, but alot of people do something kinda like that. wheel bearing grease will last a VERY long time anyway. i mean, think about it. we drive our cars hundreds of thousands of miles without...

Re: Carb Tuning
if you only change to pod filters, then usaully only a 2.5 increase is whats needed. if you also put custom mufflres on, then its usually a size 5 increase. but if you put on straight drag pipes, i would go a 7.5-10 increase from stock. alot of people put jets in their carbs that are way to big. i m...
