Re: Foot board upgrade
There is one I know of and it isn't cheap but it is nice. I'll look up the info and post it on here for you. http://s14.postimage.org/7jygq095p/045.jpg They are from H.A.C. Products over in Europe somewhere. I'll keep looking for the info and update if I find it. Found it. The link below takes you t...

Re: Converting my 900 to a Trike
Well, it is still in the paint shop. They are almost done, everything is painted and has at least one clearcoat on it and once he finishes the next clear coat he's going to pin stripe it and I can pick it up, he promises, Friday, this Friday. I hope. Here are two pics I snapped this afternoon when I...

Re: Latest Update.
Thanks for the update. Glad you are making progress. It is a long haul sometimes. I'll be 6 months out from my wreck on Monday and I'm still seeing noticeable progress every week or two. I understand about the shower. My wife had to do that for me too and it was a great feeling to be able to wash my...

Re: Latest shoulder update
I understand your frustration, really, I'm still recovering from my fall April 15th. Hang in there and work hard with the physical therapy. One day this will be a distant memory for both of us. Hope you are able to return to work soon.

Re: Converting my 900 to a Trike
Hey Jablonsky,
Great to see you post on here. Hope you are doing well. I sent the bike off to the paint shop but I haven't gotten it back yet. I'm hoping it will be finished this week. Should be great riding weather here after today. Low temps around 60 F and high's in the mid to low 80's.

Re: Converting my 900 to a Trike
That's a good point Triangles. I might do that this Winter. The materials are not very expensive. My biggest expense would be having them painted again and maybe there will be enough paint left over that I'll only have to pay labor for that.

Re: Converting my 900 to a Trike
When I realized the fiberglass body kit was not going to work, I opted for fenders and saddle bags to fill the space between the fenders and the bike. I wanted to make a support bracket that would be welded onto something solid, but I also did not want to weld near the bearings in the axle housing b...

Re: radio too much for battery?
Triangles is correct. There isn't much "extra" accessory power with our bikes. I did pretty much what you did with the LED running lights and turn signals to give me a little extra juice to use with my heated gear. I can run the gear as long as I'm at highway speeds, but in town the heated...

Re: Just Joined the Vulcan500.com Forum
Welcome to the forum. I've run heated vest and gloves on my 500 for several Winters here in Georgia and I've been very pleased with them, but I'm not as far North as you are. Hope you can enjoy riding for a while longer before it gets to cold.

Re: Latest Update.
Hang in there and work hard at the PT. I just finished up a couple of months of 3 per week visits with those people after my wreck and although it wasn't always easy or fun I could really tell the difference after every session. The progress you make during the early part of your recovery is soo imp...
