Re: Nice Ride Thru NW Georgia

It was an excellent day for riding, as your photos relate. I didn't make it to Fort Mountain - just up as far as Adairsville.

Sounds like it was a fun ride. I'm planning on riding around Fort Mountain later this afternoon.

Welcome aboard! I moved up to the Vulcan last year after riding a GZ250 for 5 years. Love the Vulcan! I'm sure you will too.

Re: Cheap Throttle Lock Mod

That is cheap. How easily can it be released when you transition from cruise mode into traffic? Obviously, everyone has their own preferences. I'm very happy with the Vista Cruise throttle lock. It has a thumb lever to release the throttle at a moment's notice. In my book it's $40 and 20-30 minutes ...

Re: Highway Bars for Vulcan 500

Your new bars look good! Mine had "highway bars" when I bought it but, as you can see, they are practically worthless and ugly to boot.

Re: Highway Bars for Vulcan 500

Congrats on the new bars - looking forward to pics.

There's a guy on vulcanforums.com that sells highway bars that he has made in Mexico. I think he's in Laredo or Brownsvile. Did you happen to look at those?
