Has anyone looked into swapping in an actual 500 Ninja in? If I'm understanding what Kawasaki did correctly then it should be an almost direct swap. Then we'd have the ex500 rpm's, torque and Hp. Thoughts?

Just picked up a cheap ($62) (and slightly damaged) tank off ebay. Now to have a chat with the local welder.

How many Vulcan 500 riders are there in NW MO/ NE KS? I know of three, myself, a friend, and a gentleman down around KC. Any others?

Never mind. I've seen some pictures of rims w/o the hub and sprocket installed and now see how it goes together.

When you said to swap the coupling for the rear wheel, did you mean the part that the sprocket bolts onto?
