Denali D1 LED driving light

I got the Twisted Throttle Denali mounted on the bike. http://www.twistedthrottle.com/denali-d1-led-lighting-single-pod-with-euro-driving-beam-lens Holy cow is it bright! I am so in love with this light! And being LED I can almost leave it on all night and still start the bike. Awesome! Lisa looked ...

Re: Another shoulder update

Good News! I went to my Physical Therapy today and they went to take measurments for my Dr. next week. I did so good they said I'm graduating next week! Woohoo! Monday is my last day of PT. Well. Last there. They're giving me some of the rubberbands and such so I can keep doing stuff at home. But I'...

Another shoulder update

I went to see Dr. Munford Thursday. The lady who operated on my shoulder. It's een almost 2 months now. She said she is very happy with my progress. She thinks my rotor cuff is still a little weak, but otherwise thinks I'm doing good. One more month and she'll let me go back to work. Yea!

Latest shoulder update

Update on the shoulder. I went to the Doctor today. She felt my arm is a bit too stiff and should be further along. But I can leave the sling off now. Although, I'll prob still wear it at night. I tend to toss and turn all night and that might still cause problems. But leaving the sling off during t...

Re: Latest Update.

Therapy is going good. Just a slow process. I can finally take a shower without my wife's help. Not that I don't enjoy showering with Lisa, but wow, it is so nice to be able to scrub myself. I go in tomorrow (Sept 27) to see the Doctor. I'm hoping for a good report. I'm figuring I'll be wearing the ...

Latest Update.

Went to the Dr. today to have the stitches snipped. They'll disolve on the inside. She seemed happy with the way it looks. Apparently it was a much more intensive operation than I thought. Which is why my arm is black and yellow. Dr. Munford said the bicept was harder to fix than stretching the tend...

Re: Had My Surgury

The nerve block wore off on my shoulder finally. I spent last night with a white hot knife stuck in my shoulder. And I can't take heavy pain meds. Lisa said one of the kittens kept jumping from her to me, but he's so light I didn't feel that.

Had My Surgury

So I had my surgery yesterday. They did a nerve block. Studies show they use less anesthesia and healing goes quicker. I don’t really remember getting the block. I was awake, but that part isn’t there. Then they wheeled me to OR. I remember sliding onto the table. Then I’m awake in recovery & ta...

Fixing what the deer did

To me. Yeah, after fighting the insurance I'm finally going in to repair my shoulder from the accident. Thursday Lisa and I went into the hospital to do testing and pre-reg for the surgury next week. Repairing the shoulder I nearly tore off hitting a deer with the Honda last February. Apparently I'm...

Re: Luggage rack

It was on the bike when I got it. Didn't know anything about it. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with it now. My wife likes it because it is shine.

Re: Luggage rack

Triangles is right. It bolts to the sissybar. It is kinda cheap and even if you weld it I'm not sure it would hold long. My homemade isn't as pretty, but I'm sure it will hold up longer.

Luggage rack

The Kawi came with what I guess is a factory chrome luggage rack. What was it made for? Carrying a Happy Meal? It sure didn't hold up to my Wolfman sissy bar bag with a small tool box. One side broke off. So I took the homemade aluminum rack I had on my Shadow and made new side rails. I think it is ...
