Re: ok, I need suggestions
ok Triangles, heres what I found. After procrastinating for 9 months about actually working on the bike, I did. I started with the puddle of gas under the bike. Using your suggestion I pulled the carbs again and adjusted the floats. This fixed the puddle- no problem. I then moved onto the ignition m...

The last time it ran it was popping and it idled a little rough. Also you could smell gas in the exhaust. Things I have done since the run was an ignition relocati...

Re: Tornado Damage in North Georgia
To everyone involved in the recent unfortunate weather in this country, I have seen my fair share of earthquakes, tornadoes and hurricanes. None of them are fun, and I wish the best to you and your families.

Re: 2 More Days!!!!
The River Run is actually in Laughlin, Nevada. It is along the Colorado River about 100 miles south of Las Vegas. Acutally, it is on the bottom tip of Nevada, where it touches Arizona, and California as well. And yes, I am back and I had a great time, thanks!

Re: Cheap Throttle Lock Mod
Actually, you control the tightness of the lock as you fit it onto your throttle. After you thread the wire into the hose, just bend it to your preferences. I guess that's cool about "building" a throttle lock vice buying one. I have mine loose enough to when I start to hit traffic, I can ...

Cheap Throttle Lock Mod
I know most of the veterans probably know about how to make a cheap throttle lock. But this is for the new riders. After pondering if I was going to buy the cheapest throttle lock I could find, I decided to use the old twist tie method... Basically, it is a piece of wire (I had a piece of chain link...

What's up from SoCal!
Hello, fellow 500 riders! Let me intoduce myself. I'm Mike and I live in Rialto, CA. I have a 2006 Vulcan 500 LTD in which I have decided to fully customize for me. I was going to trade it for a Kawi 900 custom, but I realized that if every dealer has the same bike, how is it custom? So, it's nice t...
